Amber light

TC-TL-AMBER

Amber means stop at the stop line. You may continue only if you are already so close to the line that stopping would be unsafe.

Flashing amber

TC-TL-FLASHING-AMBER

A flashing amber signal, which Turks and Caicos law allows in place of a steady amber, means proceed with caution and give way to pedestrians and other traffic already at the junction.

Green light

TC-TL-GREEN

Green means you may proceed if the way is clear. Take care if you intend to turn, and give way to pedestrians who are still crossing.

Red light

TC-TL-RED

Red means stop. Wait behind the stop line until the signal changes. Traffic signals were defined in Turks and Caicos law in December 2023: three lamps stacked vertically with red at the top and green at the bottom.
